35th International Symposium on Pediatric Surgical Research

We invite you to submit your best pediatric surgery research abstract by the deadline of August 14th 29th, 2022. Participants with successful abstracts will be notified about acceptance on September 1st 9th, 2022 and will then be invited to submit their full-length manuscripts for consideration of publication in Pediatric Surgery International by the deadline of October 9th, 2022.

Abstracts on all aspects of Basic Science and Clinical Research can be submitted for consideration to the abstract submission system ("SUBMISSION" button on the bottom of this page) until August 14th 29th, 2022. All abstracts must present original work which has not been previously accepted for publication, published, or presented at an international meeting prior to the 35th International Symposium on Paediatric Surgical Research.

ABSTRACT FORMAT

Each abstract must be submitted to the abstract submission system.
Abstracts must be limited to 350 words and 1 graphic element or table is permitted.
The text must be clear, concise and written in English.

The content of the abstract must be structured as follows:

- Title: Bold font and capital letters must be used (no abbreviations).

- Authors: You must list all authors, starting with the presenting author.

- Institutional affiliations (Institution, city, country).

- E-mail address of corresponding author.

- Abstract text: Must be divided into four parts ( “PURPOSE” , “METHODS” , “RESULTS” , “CONCLUSION” ), each starting on a new line.

DATA PRESENTATION

Abstracts must include data with clear descriptions of results and conclusion. For example, a p value without data is not sufficient.

MANUSCRIPTS

Authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit their manuscripts for consideration for publication in Pediatric Surgery International (PSI). All Manuscripts must be submitted to Dr. Hiroki Nakamura, Chairman of Central Office of ISPSR 2022 OSAKA, nakamh02@gmail.com, cc’ d; ispsr2022osaka@gmail.com by October 9th, 2022. The Scientific Committee will then decide on the basis of originality and scientific merit, which manuscripts will be accepted for publication in the congress issue of Pediatric Surgery International. RESEARCH PRIZES

There will be two prizes for the best scientific papers presented by a young investigator (35 years) in the prize session at the 35th International Symposium on Pediatric Surgical Research:

Prem Puri Prize (1500 Euros) for the best basic science paper
Michael Höllwarth Prize (1500 Euros) for the best clinical research paper

Members of the International Board of Pediatric Surgical Research will select the recipients of the prizes from the papers presented in the prize session during the conference.

Note: It is mandatory for the abstract selected for the Prize Session, that a manuscript be submitted for publication in Pediatric Surgery International.
